I remember it was Christmas and I was never going to forget that year. I squealed for a solid twenty minutes and dismissed any other distraction wrapped as a gift so I could sit, stare, and wait for what seemed like forever for my first baked masterpiece to ding out of my very own Easy Bake Oven. I don’t really know where I got my affection for baking but is now my form of meditation and puts me completely at ease.
My name is Brittney and I have a serious sweet tooth. I am a military wife along with my sous chef; my spunky little Jack Russell, Tinker Bell. I have had this baking passion since I was a little girl and I’m excited to start this blog to help keep myself and hopefully you entertained while by husband is away for duty. I look forward to sharing my recipes and techniques of baking with you all.
Side note: I am not an English major or a photographer. I am learning how to blog and take pictures that do my goodies justice as I go and will hopefully continue to improve. My goal is just to share my passion and the process of baking along the way!

Favorite things: Baking of course, traveling, reading, playing with my dog and having adventures with my partner in crime, my husband.
Favorite TV shows: Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, and Friends.
Favorite Movie: Breakfast at Tiffany’s, The Shack and Liar Liar.
Favorite Food: Fried Green Tomatoes, Biscuits and Gravy (chocolate gravy is the BEST), anything breakfast basically.
Favorite Treat: Anything sweet basically, I have no favorites I want them all!
Favorite Place to visit: Anywhere in the mountains with my two favorite people (My husband and Tinker).
